Short Notice
Wednesday, March 07, 2001 Next week I'm going to L.A.. How's that for short notice? This trip will be fun. We're going to meet with the Disney writers and work on some preliminary stuff. It should be real chill. The only problem is the timing. This is the worst possible time for me to go anywhere. I have so much freelance work it's insane. I'm doing ten spot illos for a teen magazine, a full page illo for a regular client, and a one page, six panel comic for another teen mag. My brain is going to explode. Really. I need to chill. Maybe I'll take some Kava when I get home. Or maybe a nap. I dunno. Either or. Btw, I read a really good book the other day, Ghost World  by Dan Clowes. It was weirdly familiar, maybe because it reminded me of the relationship I had with my best friend from high school. It's worth the dough.
