The Fury
Tuesday, February 28, 2006

Have you ever been so furious you felt the need to destroy something? Punch the shit out of it or else your head will explode? That's how I feel right now. It's a scary feeling. When I was younger, I would just give in to temptation and punch away. I had a foot-shaped hole in my bedroom wall from a well-placed boot kick. I want to kick something like that right now--really, really badly--but I can't. I'm an adult. I'm supposed to be able to control my anger, tamp it right down into a fiery little ulcer. Ah, the joys of being a responsible grown-up. Makes me want to puke.

You think you got problems.... try being a video game junkie and not breaking anything... Although I have yet to damage any expensive equipment, I have gone through a few optical mice and have a nice little hole in my wall that is suspiciously 'round about the size of two of my knuckles. Quite frankly it's amazing the keyboard still works... I think my friend may have actually ripped his headphones off and threw them whilst playing a round of deathmatch with me, resulting in a quick trip to CompUSA.

My lord, the only game I play well is tetris and we've got a bar here that has one, so when I play, I'm also drinking. That makes me a little less apt to bust shit up.

Boy, do I feel your pain. Ha. My wall as a teenager was covered floor to ceiling with posters, every inch. When I moved out it took my mom 3 years to realize why I had left only one of them up!

Well, yeah, that and the fact that Tetris pieces typically don't round corners and blow your ass up with a rocket propelled grenade launcher.... my buddy's been known to do that. Often.
