Stupid
Wednesday, October 11, 2006 So it was a stupid Yankee's pitcher. When are famous people going to stop killing themselves in flaming plane crashes? And why do they let pilots of little planes fly low around New York City -- using only their eyes for guidance? Wtf? How does that make sense? There should be a special place, out over a cornfield somewhere in the middle of cow country perhaps, where amateur pilots can run themselves into the ground at their leisure. Stupid Yankee. So four people are dead because some rich guy couldn't bother to fly first class let the professions do what they're trained to do. posted at 4:31 PM . link to this post . 2 Comments:you don't mind if people crash their planes just 'not in my front yard'. No, a plane crash is a tragedy, but inexperienced hobbiest pilots shouldn't be allowed to fly planes near a densely populated area such as a large city where there are lots of unsuspecting people living out their lives. People sitting in their living rooms, watching tv and eating a bag of chips shouldn't have to worry about wealthy playboys bearing down on them in aircraft. There's no reason for it, except hubris on the part of the pilot. It's horrific when a real pilot, whose job is to fly a plane, goes down. It's a terrible tragedy. But when it's some guy's hobby, a guy who makes tons of money doing something else, and who isn't very experienced at controlling an airplane in a windy city environment, it's just stupid. Go fly over a corn field where you won't hurt anyone other than yourself and the corn. By Angela, at 11/13/2006 10:21 AM |
