What To Wear
Tuesday, October 31, 2006 I need a little advice on what to wear this Friday. I'm going to a wedding and since I'm bored, I figured I'd put this out there and see what the general opinion is. Option #1 is a lovely light grey and pink chiffon gown with an empire waist, plunging neckline and lace accents. I'd like to add that this is actually a nightgown, but don't let that bias you, since it's really well made and doesn't look like a nightgown to the untrained eye. I only know it because I bought it in the intimates department of Marshall's or some such place. I'm a scavenger and will wear anything as clothing as long as it looks good. Option #2 is a smocked top, empire waist chiffon gown with a bold print skirt. I got this at Forever 21 last summer to wear to another wedding, but I wore something else instead. The top used to be a longer tube-top, but I had it altered to shorten it by about four inches. I was hoping to wear it without the straps, but it's really not going to work like that. I simply don't have the boobs to hold it up. Sigh. I don't like the way the straps look, but oh well.No matter which one I choose, I'm going to have to wear a sweater over it, since I'm almost always cold. So give it a good thought and leave me your comments. posted at 5:45 PM . link to this post . 5 Comments:Hmmm.... A toughie. I think they're both really nice... but I think I'm slightly leaning towards option #2. Looks great on you! By Nikkiana, at 10/31/2006 7:28 PM
I like the first one best for a wedding. It's elegant and you wear it well. By , at 11/01/2006 5:55 PM i was going to say go with #1 since #2 is not strapless, but i still think #2 is the way to go. especially with the autumnal colors.. By , at 11/02/2006 2:12 PM
I hate to say this, because I know that every other guy that posts here is thinking it too (and of course you are entirely aware of it), but geez you are lovely. Please clone yourself and mail the duplicate to Vancouver. By , at 11/02/2006 11:03 PM Hmmm...I wonder if it would be illegal to ship a clone over international borders...
