I love fall. I love the colors of the leaves, I love the crisp breeze. I love fianally being able to wear jeans and sweaters after a summer of sundresses. And I especially love my new sneakers. They're bright as gingko leaves and comfy as an old hoodie.

This photo is surprisingly popular on flickr -- who knows why. Shots that I think exquisitely beautiful get thirty-four hits and others are inexplicably faved and commented on for reasons unknown. People seem to like this one. Perhaps it's the vibrant fallen leaves. Maybe it's the clown-like quality of the shoes. Or it could just be that everyone is ready for fall. It's taken long enough for it to come this year.
